Aimed at companies in the sector, the service provides expert support during the initial stages of the application process, from feasibility analysis to project preparation<\/strong><\/p>

Following the first online seminar exclusively for partners<\/strong>, held as part of the Mining and Quarry Restoration Network (RMC) Working Groups,<\/strong> the organisation has announced the launch of a new technical support service <\/strong>for companies interested in applying for funding from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI).<\/strong><\/p>

This first session, focused on promoting CDTI funding opportunities for the restoration of mining sites, featured the participation of ecological restoration expert Ignacio Mola Caballero de Rodas<\/strong>, who explained the key points for accessing the various support instruments available: low-interest loans, non-repayable funding and tax incentives<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>

As a natural follow-up to this meeting, the RMC Network will offer individualised advice<\/strong> to companies in the sector \u2014whether or not they are Network partners\u2014 interested in developing innovative mining restoration projects<\/strong>. The service will focus on the initial stages of the process: from analysing <\/strong>the feasibility of the initial idea to formulating the project<\/strong> and preparing the application<\/strong>. <\/p>

\u201cOur aim is to reduce barriers to accessing these funds, which are still little known or underused in the field of mining restoration,\u201d the organisation explains. \u201cWe want to make it easier for companies to turn their ideas into viable, fundable projects,\u201d they add. <\/p>

The support will be provided by professionals with extensive experience in R&D&I in ecological restoration. <\/s><\/strong>The RMC Network does not set a fixed budget; instead, each case will be assessed individually. In addition, partner organisations will receive a 20% discount<\/strong> on the total cost of the service. <\/p>
